Mode of Financial Contribution
How to donate:
The cheques/draft for donations should be made in the name of “Shiksha Sopan”
payable at Kanpur. Donors may kindly give their personal details such as name,
postal address, email address, so that the receipt, updates etc. may be sent.
One can also make online transfer to Shiksha Sopan account in State Bank of
India, IITK branch in the Account 10426002488 in the name “Shiksha Sopan”. The
swift code of the bank is SBININBB499.
If you wish to sponsor a child, donation can be made in following categories:
- Category A: Class 6-12, few students to be admitted in a year
(number depending on sponsors), nurtured through school fee, textbooks,
uniform etc.
Expense : Rs 15000 per student per year in the first 3 year, will increase afterwards
- Category B: Class 9-12, 10 students to be admitted every year at
class 9 level and nurtured through textbooks, postal assistance, summer
camps, school fee etc.
Expense : Rs 12000 per student per year
- Category C: Class 9-12, 30 students to be admitted every year at
class 9 level and nurtured through textbooks and postal assistance
Expense : Rs 6000 per student per year
- Category D: Sopan Vidyalaya : 50 students from pre school to
class 6 level for kids in Barasirohi
Expense : Rs 3000 per student per year
- Category E: Evening Learning Centers at SAC IITK, Barasirohi-I,
Barasirohi II, Type-1 IITK and Chak Ratanpur. Total of 160 students from
respective villages/localities
Expense : Rs 1500 per student per year
